Why do we need a subdomain? PetDesk provides you with a basic website and customer portal where your customers can book appointments, view their pet's information, and manage their accounts. This subdomain will be the web address you share with your customers.

Don't worry - you can always connect your own custom domain later if you prefer!

Your site will be: cleanpaws.app.petdesk.co.uk

1. About Us

PetDesk.co.uk ("we", "our", "us") is operated by DTS.SH Ltd (Company Number: 16882049) trading as PetDesk in the United Kingdom. We provide a subscription-based software platform ("the Service") that allows businesses working with animals ("Tenants") to manage bookings and customer records.

2. Scope of Service

  • We provide the technical platform only.
  • Tenants use the Service to manage their own clients and bookings.
  • We do not act as agent, representative, or guarantor for Tenants or their customers.

3. Accounts & Access

  • Tenants must create an account to use the Service.
  • Tenants are administrators of their tenancy and may create additional staff accounts to access the Service on their behalf.
  • Account credentials must be kept secure.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse or breach of these Terms.

4. Subscription & Free Trial

  • New Tenants are offered a free trial period.
  • During the free trial, subscription terms (including pricing and features) are available within the Service.
  • Subscriptions commence once the free trial ends and payment details are provided.
  • Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time, but no refunds are given for partial billing periods unless required by law.

5. Data & Privacy

  • Tenants are data controllers for personal data relating to their customers.
  • We act as a data processor only, storing such data securely and encrypted on behalf of the Tenant.
  • Tenants are responsible for complying with data protection laws (including UK GDPR), including handling subject access requests, deletion requests, and data accuracy.
  • Some Tenants may choose to invite local veterinary practices into the Vet Portal, which allows vets to:
    • View animals registered with them as patients.
    • Receive updates on treatment provided by the Tenant.
    • Refer patients to relevant Tenants offering near-medical services (e.g. physiotherapy, hydrotherapy).
    • Access for vets/hospitals is restricted to the animals they are directly connected to, and no wider access is granted.
  • Our [Privacy Policy] explains how we handle Tenant account data.
  • We will not use end-customer data for our own purposes except as necessary to provide the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

Tenants must not use the Service to:

  • Break any law or regulation.
  • Transmit harmful, obscene, or unlawful content.
  • Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Service or its security.

7. Service Availability

  • We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
  • We may carry out maintenance or updates that may cause temporary downtime.
  • We are not liable for losses caused by downtime, system errors, or third-party service failures.

8. Liability

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".
  • To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties.
  • Our liability to Tenants is limited to the total fees paid in the 12 months before a claim.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All software, branding, and content provided by us remain our property.
  • Tenants retain ownership of their own data.

10. Termination

  • Tenants may cancel at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
  • Upon termination, Tenant data may be deleted after a reasonable period.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
